I am deeply interested in exploring how art, culture, and advocacy intersect with environmental and social issues, which has guided much of my writing and research.
In my first publication, featured in Knowledge to Lead (ISSN 2765-0626) and awarded 4th place by the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Foundation Organizing Committee, I examined how cultural narratives influence environmental consciousness and collective action. I also highlighted how hip-hop, rather than just classical music, resonates with younger, diverse audiences actively engaged in social movements, showing the potential of music to enhance environmental advocacy and education.
In another piece, I assessed how anti-racism efforts contribute to social equity and community well-being, emphasizing that sustainability must encompass both environmental conservation and the promotion of a more equitable and inclusive society.
Additionally, my creative work earned recognition in the 2022 Ocean Awareness Contest, where I received the Notable Award for using art to explore environmental challenges and inspire advocacy. Through these writings, I aim to connect ideas and inspire action for a more sustainable and inclusive world.
