I am passionate about finding practical ways to make a positive impact on both people and the environment.
As part of the Korea National Champion Team, I worked on a project to repurpose used electric car batteries into portable chargers, helping reduce waste and promote responsible consumption.
I also developed eco-friendly instrument cleaning solutions, a project that was recognized at the Korea International Youth Olympiad and published in the International Journal of STEAM.
One of my favorite projects is The Second Chord, a second-hand instrument rental platform I introduced as a finalist in the Youth Impact UN SDGs Idea Competition. It’s designed to give kids from low-income families access to music education while reducing waste and encouraging reuse.
Through these projects, I’ve been able to explore my passion for innovation and sustainability in a way that benefits both people and the planet.

The Second Chord
The second-hand instrument rental platform for equal education opportunities
I established a music instrument rental business to give children from low-income families access to music education, helping to support their mental health and personal growth.
Through this initiative, I aim to enhance their well-being by fostering creativity, building confidence, and providing a positive outlet for self-expression.
At the same time, The Second Chord reduces waste and the environmental impact of manufacturing new instruments by encouraging the sharing and reuse of resources. The project promotes a more sustainable approach to making musical opportunities accessible.
Sustainability Club "Creative Voices for Change" Leader
At Eaglebrook, I’m actively engaged in the school’s sustainability movement. This year, I founded a sustainability club called Creative Voices for Change. Our club focuses on producing animated shorts and films to raise awareness about social issues.
These experiences drive me to foster a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative future, and I’m excited to continue making an impact.
